Quality Hotel Batman's Hill on Collins
Address: 623 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia
Every part of the experience was excellent - the direct booking on-line, the check-in, the room was modern, bed fine, very good coffee/tea, and shower very good. Bar and breakfast very good. Service through the whole hotel was outstanding - including the facilities for the conference I was attending, Overall, possibly the best value hotel I have stayed in Australia.
Arrived quite late in the evening, so got a taxi straight from the airport, however the direct airport bus will drop you almost opposite this hotel. Easy to find, friendly helpful staff to greet and check you in. Lovely clean room, extremely comfortable bed and great facilities, hair dryer and toiletries provided. One of the quietest rooms I have ever stayed in at a hotel, not sure if that is good sound proofing or we were lucky to not have any noisy neighbours. Location is perfect to walk out and tour on foot or using the great tram system. Lovely Food places all around. Nice bar for a drink with lovely staff, happy hour included a surprise little plate of hot treats. Overall a fantastic stay for our 3 nights. Upon check out we were able to still use the safe and store our luggage which was fantastic to allow us almost another full day or exploring, however they did offer us a noon check out for free. Would recommend.
Very helpful and friendly staff, great location right across from Southern Cross St, nice room with comfortable beds. A great place to stay in Melbourne. Very family friendly, apartments perfect for families with kids.
Very good hotel with good ambience
Nice dining area with lots of menu option
They provide lots of personal care
Provide free wifi to all the residents
Breakfast is awesome
Has got good facilities and housekeeping

The Hotel Windsor
It is fabulous. There was an unfortunate problem with mould in the bathroom - fixed after 2 days. Otherwise it was great. My favourite hotel in Melbourne. Quiet, comfortable, relaxed, sophisticated. A great hotel by any standard.
We have stayed here many times and this was again a great stay. We cannot fault the staff here, always attentive and well mannered. The room was spotlessly clean, the only complaint was the decor is showing some signs of wear in the bathroom and the shower water was hard to maintain a constant temperature. Considering the age of the building, this is only a minor hiccup. As regular visitors, an upgrade every now and then would be nice too but we are always happy with what we book so it is never expected and so far never happened 🙂
This was a tick off our bucket list staying at this historic hotel and we were not disappointed.
The highlight was the high tea.
I could ramble on and on about the service, friendly staff, spacious room, comfortable bed etc etc. The only thing we could pin pick was the little bit of noise we could hear from the bars across the street but even this was not an issue once the drapes were pulled at night.
Would we stay again. Definitely.
Will stay here again and again! Staff professional and pleasant, great location and an all round incredible experience! You really know how to make a person feel pampered. Thank you for all you do to make staying so delightful and enjoyable.

Pegasus Apart'Hotel
Address: 206 A'Beckett St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia
Check in was great and was able to find me an extra night accom at check by moving things around. Car park on property is well worth it. Hotel location was great. Will stay again next business or personal trip to Melb
Staff were courteous and helpful throughout my stay (front, bar/dining and cleaning). The room was quiet even though nearby to sites like QV markets and Queen St and City Circle tram line. Bonus free daily buffet breakfast and late late checkout.
Wonderful apartment hotel right in the middle of Melbourne. The best part was the free tram on the inner circle which was walking distance from the hotel. Lavish Buffet breakfast and great amenities. The staff was very hospitable. The market is right behind the hotel and so is…
Great price, great staff, good food and facilities. Pancake machine is fantastic novelty for kids. Everyone was friendly. Pool is good although a little chilly on a cold day. Overall a great stay. Would recommend to friends.

Crown Metropol Melbourne
Address: 8 Whiteman St, Southbank VIC 3006, Australia
Sky bus which is a airport shuttle bus stops across from hotel. Location is convenient to everything, restaurants, tourist attractions, shopping and there is a free city circle tram close by. Bed is extremely comfortable, bathroom is clean, and there is a selection of tea and hot chocolate and coffee with the kettle. Roof top infinity pool a must, so bring your swimwear. Gym is good, wifi is fast and there is a food court on the ground floor of the complex with good value and variety of food. All in all, very satisfactory stay.
Asked for high floor and we got that on level 23 with great views. Room was spacious, clean and beds were very comfortable. Had to call to have additional toiletries but was delivered promptly. Other amenities were sufficient. Great number of channels on tv including international. Location and access excellent within crown complex. Swimming pool with stunning views on 27th floor, as well as gym and spas. Buffet breakfast as part of package at Mr Hive was limited and not being able to have a cappuccino or latte included was rather disappointing - option of plunge coffee only. Most other hotels of this level would have a wider range of buffet and coffee to order. Overall very good impression.
We did a 3 night package at the Hotel with 2A and 2C aged 4 & 5, we had a birthday celebration on the Saturday night, Sunday the package included $50 Voucher at King Pings, the kids loved this, Monday we did Bowling which was also included in the package, you are walking…
We spent one night at Crown Metropol - lots to do - movie, dining, shopping, gambling etc. The room was very well appointed and the bed supremely comfortable. The delicious buffet breakfast at Mr Hive took place on Level 28 which we saw as a bonus because of the terrific city…

The Langham, Melbourne
Address: 1 Southgate Ave, Melbourne VIC 3006, Australia
Although this is at the higher end of cost for a dinner, the selection is exceptional and the quality first class. The night we went was crayfish night . Half crafish done with garlic butter on a bbq, cooked while you wait. There was no limit, one table near us, 2 gentlemen ate at least 6 halves each.
Received a gift voucher as a gift from a friend for a special birthday and booked a package just recently. My husband and I were blown away by just how beautiful this hotel is. The service, room, breakfast, staff - it really was exceptional and we will go back. Couldn't fault it and would highly recommend it.
I recommend staying in an executive suite for that special occasion, you will feel like royalty. Quality of food and drinks was excellent with exceptional service. Breakfast selection was amazing. I love that the pool and spa area is never too busy.
Staying at The Langham is a wonderful experience .... from check-in to check-out there is nothing negative to say about this hotel. The rooms are spacious with a beautiful marble bathroom (and we had chosen a room with a lovely view of the city skyline and the Yarra). Breakfast in Melba Restaurant was excellent, the free wi-fi fast and valet parking very efficient. Staff are very friendly, helpful and always professional. We highly recommend a stay at the elegant Langham,.

Pan Pacific Melbourne
My husband and I traveled to Melbourne for the fourth time in 7 months and must say that we finally found our go to hotel in Melbourne!
The location is superb (our early drive back to the airport only took 20 minutes) with easy access to restaurants, running trails, and shopping. The staff was incredible! Special shout out to the friendly and accommodating restaurant and breakfast staff Jen, Sonal, Purnika, Raj, and Andrea; lounge staff Cameron and Sara; and doorman Kenneth and the other guys that we didn’t catch the names. We appreciate the option of eating breakfast at the lounge or on the main restaurant on the ground floor. Food selections at the restaurant included vegetarian and healthy options.
Our housekeepers have been wonderful and I’m sorry I forgot their names. Our party of three occupied two room, 1610 and 1612. The views were AMAZING!
We parked at the DFO parking facility paying only about $25 a day (front desk or concierge can give you a discount card). It’s convenient and easy access to the Pan Pacific.
We look forward to staying here again!
I stayed in a Premier King City Skyline Room on the 17th floor, and the first thing I noticed when I walked in was the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Yarra River and the Melbourne cityscape. The large work desk facing the windows was a perfect scenic perch to work from.
I liked that several USB charging ports were available at the side of the bed. Reading lights are also cleverly tucked away in the headboard, and come in handy for business travellers needing to share a room.
I loved that my room felt like a cloistered sanctuary removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, despite standing in the heart of it all.
As the room came with club access, I made sure to drop by and cool down with an ice-cold drink as the weather outside was scorching. As such, I did not venture outside to the outdoor terrace but I'd imagine that space would be coveted area during the cooler months of the year. In the evenings, the lounge also offers complimentary canapés and alcoholic beverages.
There's also a 24-hour fitness centre, all-day Cafe Orr for light bites, and the Dock 37 Bar & Kitchen for modern Australian cuisine.
Best part is that the hotel is next to the DFO South Wharf, the outlet mall – also less than a minute's walk away – is home to 170 Australian and international brands offering up to 70 per cent off, making it easy for business travellers like me to indulge in a spot of retail therapy after a long day.
The staff were exemplary, and went above and beyond to ensure my every need was taken care of. I will definitely be back!
An extremely pleasant stay. Great rooms, clean with all services provided for.
Great location. Handy to shops and restaurants along the river.
Very pleasant staff throughout.
Well worth a visit to the Cafe.
My husband and I stayed here for the first 2 nights of our honeymoon. What a beautiful hotel. Expensive but it had everything we needed and what the heck, it was our honeymoon we are only doing it once. We had complimentary champagne and chocolate bought up to our room the first night which was lovely. All staff at front desk were lovely and helpful and also genuinely excited for both of us.
The buffet breakfast was nice, a large selection and everything was fresh
Room was huge, and very clean
Centrally located and easy to get to

InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto
Stayed for a 3 day conference. Nothing was a problem for the staff. Concierge was awesome sorting our Myki tickets and recommended a great cafe for lunch. Conference food good and dinner was great. Expensive but you get what you pay for.
I'm a regular at this hotel and it's for good reason. The staff remember me, especially the restaurant manager, the rooms are always quiet, I can get sleep and work done. I also meet with my clients in the hotel restaurant back to back most days and the team accomodate me with a smile. I often receive upgrades and appreciate the extra mile everyone goes to to to ensure I have a great time. Huge thanks to the team.
My wife and I stayed here on two occasions during our visit to Australia. Liked the conversion of the old Rialto to a hotel. The room were very nice and comfortable. We thought the staff were very nice and accommodating especially the front door staff. Enjoyed the bar. Two negative comments: The cost of the buffet breakfast was quite expensive in our opinion. On our second stay, we asked for a room closer to the elevator and were assigned a room farther away instead. Then the assigned room had a leaking toilet which was annoying. Reported it in the early afternoon and assured it would be fixed "straight away". Returned later in evening to find it had not been fixed. Talked to night manager who was more interested in finding out who I had reported the problem to rather than fixing my problem. The end result was that we had to change rooms late in the evening.
Stayed at this amazing place unfortunately I took a fall in Lygon St came back to the Rialto. My husband called reception to ask if they had something we could put on my injuries. They sent up a First Aider to clean & dress my wounds, so appreciated on everything they did will go back & next time stay at the haotel & not venture out into the city.

Holiday Inn Melbourne on Flinders
Address: 575 Flinders Ln, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia
i found this hotel was in a great location, walking distance to most areas of interest. the rooms are very comfortable, modern and well decorated. great block out electronic blinds, large screen TV, coffee maker and super comfy bed. nice breakfast and very friendly staff. definitely recommend for the budget conscious.
Great hotel, convenient location just a few minutes walk down from Southern Cross station and a minute walk to the tram line in the CBD.
Room was spacious, very clean and modern. Lovely large windows to bring in the natural light. Bathroom amenities provided (and more specific ones can be ordered if required).
Wifi worked great in the room and the blockout shutters were excellent in keeping the room dark at any hour of the day/night.
Check-in/checkout experience was quick and efficient and staff were very nice to deal with.
They have an outdoor pool which is great for a really hot day in the city (like it was during my visit).
The only downside was that I found the room wasn't very soundproof from Flinders Lane - the street noise can travel up with cars beeping early morning - perhaps provide ear plugs as complimentary amenity for light sleepers.
Overall, this was a great modern hotel in very convenient location and would definitely stay again!
We chose this hotel :
1. Locations is very strategic, walking distance to south cross station - this is the train / metro central station in south melbourne - everything connect here.. so airport connection, in city connection, restaurant and shopping centre is just within reach, airport is only around 30mins with taxi during heavy traffic hour
2. Also nearby the city center, like flinders station, Yarra River, Collin street, Elizabeth street, Bourke street, all the fancy the malls, street restaurant, St.Kilda Beach, DFO / factory outlets, melbourne exhibition center they are just walking distance or you can take free Tram just in front of the hotel
3. The room is spacious, and within this price range in Melbourne, you got a brand new / refurbished bedroom, the twin bed is a queen size each - so traveling 2 adults with 2 young children is accommodated within 1 bedroom - we requested a corner room with 2 large wall to wall windows ie room 422 and 423 are typically a corner room, they are spacious and more photogenic - see our pics
4. Staff are super friendly and helpful, but be ready that they dont seems to offer concierge service/luggage so you must handle your own, it matter when you are traveling with familly and small kids - but this is not a minus, just manage your expectation
5. They got coin laundry with dryer !! This is very helpful when you are long stay and traveling with family - imagine fast dirty laundry can pile up - in total you only need to prepare $6 incl detergent(provided) to wash and dry
6. Fitness and swimming pool is just so so.. not really your destination here
Traveling within Melbourne is free using the Tram (city zone) - outside this zone, ie to go to the St.Kilda Beach or to Moonlit Sanctuary (to hugs and live encounter with koalas & kangaroos) - you need to prepare a Myki top up card, The Opal card that you used for transport in Sidney can not be used here, however Myki Card is better than Opal card, because you can refund your remaining unused balance as as long you got min $5 unused balance - simply top it up to $5 first, so you can get a refund.. unlike in other country.. refund is quite bureaucratic here, you must fill in form, show your password, and only available in the main station ie South Cross station, for a refund... I dont know why OZ are so complicated with the Metro/MRT Card?
Back to the hotel, this hotel is a pleasant experience, I would consider to comeback here - thanks
The rooms were clean and just right for a family of four. Rom service was prompt and the restaurant was great. Staff were helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to someone who wants a good hotel, for family, close to the cbd and other attractions.

Travelodge Hotel Melbourne Southbank
Address: 9 Riverside Quay, Southbank VIC 3006, Australia
I'd recommend this hotel and use it for future travel. It's a good no-frills hotel in a great location with friendly staff and adequately equipped rooms. Also, they were very willing to work with us on early check in due to very early morning airport arrival.
This is our 6th time we have stayed at this property and we have always had a great experience. It is always clean, friendly and close to restaurants, Crown Casino, a ten minute walk to Flinders St train station, Federation Square and the trams to Marvel Stadium and the MCG (we travel from W.A to watch the AFL annually). The rooms are semi self contained with microwave and fridge.
Not grand but a perfectly acceptable hotel to stay in.
The rooms are clean and the staff friendly.
The location is idea with plenty of restaurants etc nearby.
If you are not planning to stay in your room much of the time it is a good base to discover Melbourne
The breakfast buffet is good and excellent value
I often attend conferences in Southbank, and always stay at this hotel so I only have a short walk to and from the conference venue. I will be attending another conference on Saturday 15th June and have already booked a two night stay in order to attend a concert after the conference and to further explore the area on Sunday. The reasons for my repeat visits : (1) friendly and helpful staff. (2) comfortable, well presented and well serviced rooms which have a kitchenette. (3) nice buffet breakfast. (4) pleasant atmosphere throughout the hotel. (5) the location – everything in easy walking distance.

Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne
Address: 189 Queen Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000 Australia
Awesome experience from end to end have stayed for 2 months and it was worth staying in Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne Queen street.
Friendly Staff and always ready to help at any given point of time.
A special stay for 2 nights in the city for my daughters birthday turned into an absolutely wonderful experience. A personal birthday card handwritten by the Assistant Manager Mr Andrew Edwards was above and beyond what we expected! The room was large, clean and comfortable and the pool was perfect for my daughter who is not confident in deep water.
Good hotel. Fast to book on line. Has all the basics. Good location to transit. The views were not so bad. The card slots on the elevator are a bit troublesome as one visiting family from China was stuck in a lift for 5 minutes before running for help on how to get the elevator to move/work. the card has to be absolutely perpendicular. Not very good for people who are older or a bit tipsy.
The Adina hotel located centrally. Close walk to shops etc. Very clean and huge 3 bedroom apartment with king size beds. Also a plus having the taxi stand right outside the door. Staff knowledgeable and welcoming. Definitely stay again when in Melbourne.

Crown Towers Melbourne
Address: 8 Whiteman St, Southbank VIC 3006, Australia
Not my first time at Crown Towers Melbourne and the property continues to provide a top experience and is definitely one of the city’s best hotels. Great sized rooms (although they do vary in size with the curvature of the room, and some have bay windows and others don’t) and the property is very well maintained.
Great location for access to restaurants and entertainment and the Virtuoso amenities of upgrade at time of booking, bottle of wine on arrival, Crystal Club and Aqua access are always a nice bonus.
My husband and I stayed at Crown Towers last night. We stayed in a Villa which was just unbelievably luxurious. There was so much space, with a huge bedroom and an extra living room, walk in robe and large bathroom. The service we received at check-in and from our butler was exceptional. We have stayed at Crown Towers several times before and have always had memorable stays. The beds and pillows are so comfortable and the linen is very good quality. We went to one of the restaurants in the Crown complex that we hadn't tried before (Long Chim) and we didn't enjoy the meal at all unfortunately. We came back to our room and ordered a cheese platter that arrived promptly and was delicious! We had breakfast in The Conservatory which is a stunning looking restaurant overlooking the Yarra River. The breakfast was top quality and we very much enjoyed it. Despite not enjoying our dinner we had an amazing stay at Crown Towers and would definitely return again. Thanks to all the staff, especially Tim, one of the managers, for your exceptional service.
Outstanding as always
3rd time to this magical treat.
Cannot fault staff location and overall pure luxury
Highly recommended the amazing pool .
Room service were prompt
And food delicious
Cannot wait to go back
A true 5 star hotel, very opulent and exceptional service. Our first room (720) that we checked into had a revolting view, so after I complained we were moved to a different room 1202. This room was wonderful. The staff were all very helpful. I've no idea why they would put us in the first room when they had a better King room available, which is what we'd booked.

Best Western Melbourne City
Address: 16 Spencer St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia
I was offered an early check in which was unexpected but welcomed. Also the welcome back note in my room with accompanying chocolates was special. Already I felt that someone cared. That feeling carried throughout my stay. My room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for me. It would be hard to beat the rate, quality and service of this hotel. I will definitely be back.
I booked this hotel at last minute.com and got a great rate. Staff check in was friendly quick and easy. Room was ok for 1 night . No soap in shower so cleaning people must have forgotten but I just went down and got one. No problem. Windows rattled a bit at night so I struck a magazine in the window .all good. Shower was great pressure and clean bathroom . Comfy bed for a few hours sleep as I was up early to catch the skybus. Good location to the railway station . Plus to the river . Great eating places as well .
The staff were lovely and welcoming.
The room was clean, simple and decorated nicely. Also it was naturally lit with a huge overhead sylight and high ceilings making it light and spacious.
Conveniently located 2 min walk form southern cross station with easy access to the building.
I stayed here for two nights for work, as I was attending a conference at the nearby Melbourne Convention Centre. They had upgraded me to a room that slept three people, so I'm guessing it was slightly bigger than the norm. I'm not sure how three people could stay in here though, as the bathroom was tiny! The bed however, was extremely comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The overall decor was nice and staff were accommodating and friendly. I kindly asked if my partner could stay over (we are long distance and he lives in Melbourne) and they were 100% fine with it. There was only a fridge, no proper kitchenette, so I wouldn't stay in this particular room longer term however for a night or two it's fine. Great value for money.

Art Series - The Larwill Studio
Address: 48 Flemington Rd, Parkville VIC 3052, Australia
Very comfortable, and amazingly quiet stop in Melbourne. Some rooms have very tranquil views out over parklands. Although not in the heart of the CBD the location is convenient with easy accessibility to the airport.
I stayed at Larwill for two nights and I will definitely go back. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was clean and room service from the restaurant next door was absolutely delicious. Staff at reception were most helpful and courteous.
Big open room - clean light - comfort plus bed - views of park - so nice to feel space so close to the City. Staff lovely & helpful. Parking on site, safe and had all we needed
Movies available - free wifi was a clincher
Booked here for a regular trip to Melbourne - great location adjacent to Royal Park. New hotel with well designed and equipped rooms - even a yoga mat! Great art and quirky touches. Well lit bathroom with plenty of shelf space for toiletries, and good bedside lighting too!

Citadines on Bourke Melbourne
Address: 131/135 Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia
My family and I were very impressed when we stayed at Citadines over Easter.
The 2 bedroom apartment had 2 bathrooms, an equipped kitchen and a washing machine/dryer! So much room, very clean, lovely comfortable beds and so very quiet.
The location is second to none as it is right in the middle of all the CBD action. It is easy to walk anywhere or just jump on a tram. We had a car but only used it to travel up to the Dandenongs for a day trip.
The hotel car-park was full but we were able to park at a commercial car-park right next door at a reduced rate of $16.00 per night. This made it cheaper than the hotel's overnight parking rate, the only catch being that you could only come/go once in a 24 hour period. This wasn't a problem for us though.
One member of our party was booked into a studio suite but it ended up being a room for a disabled person. This meant the shower had no screening and a very flat floor so water went absolutely everywhere! We were rather annoyed that we were not told this when we checked in. Nonetheless, the reception staff were very friendly although it did take a while to check us in.
The staff were very friendly, the facilities were wonderful, the room was spacious, and the location was amazing. From when I arrived to when I left, the service was high quality. I am very happy to have stayed here, and I would definitely stay at Citadines on Bourke again
Friendly Staff, good location, large room, well maintained. Would highly recommend this hotel. Proximity to everything was excellent and the tram outside the door. Walking distance to MCG and most other popular places
Excellent apartment on top floor in a Melbourne high rise.
Comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms with stunning views from living area.
Very helpful staff and at the heart of melbourne
Off street parking .
Very central.

Treasury On Collins
Address: Ground Floor/394 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia
The Treasury on Collins is a wonderful place to spend a special holiday. It is close to the CBD and the rooms are comfortable and always very well presented. The service is more than you expect, and the staff are extremely helpful. Overall a fantastic holiday.
Stayed here for 3 nights while on a work trip and couldn't fault it. The rooms are amazingly spacious, the staff are delightful and the proximity to shopping/restaurants/cbd couldn't have been better.
As we booked direct we had the free breakfast and the happy hour with free drinks each night which was fantastic.
This is now my new number one spot to stay in Melbourne and I would most definitely recommend.
I can't say enough about Treasury on Collins in the central business district of Melbourne. We enjoyed this Bank transformed into Aparthotel, the lobby with bar, the mezzanine with the extensive breakfast buffet. There was the very helpful staff, the proximity to tram, and walking distance ( if desired) to many restaurants. I enjoyed strolling to Blinders and took a tram to the Art Museum and walked the Botanical Gardens.
Shopping in the arcade studded downtown was a delight. We enjoyed very many restaurants.
I was happy with our 5th storey room, it's lay out, but the small alley behind it was loud. The noise of glass bottles dumped into a recycling receptacle.
502 was generously seized. The kitchenette was ok for a snack.
It's more like a tea-kitchen.
Loved the place. So beautifull, clean and peacefull room. Loved the bathtub. Washer/dryer machine really convinient. Full kitchen with all you need to prepare good breakfast and other meals.
Afternoon wine tasting nice extra service. Location very good, in middle of everything.
