A stunning location for a walk

Walks along the beach are really pleasant, and there are plenty of places to stop for food and drink along the way. The cuisine at Beachcomber was pretty good although a touch pricey; nevertheless, the atmosphere and view made up for the cost.

I Was really Surprised

St. Kilda came as a pleasant surprise after seeing a number of other beach sites close to metropolitan centres, many of which are not well kept. An extensive, visually appealing stretch of coastline that features a sandy beach and water that is remarkably transparent. Views of the city in the distance are rather nice. Even though I didn't see any penguins on the breakwater, it was still a nice walk.

Beautiful Melbourne Sunsets

I was under the impression that St. Kilda beach would be like any other beach, but I was wrong. You will always be greeted at St. Kilda by a breathtaking sunset, which is one of the reasons why this place is so remarkable. The breathtaking view of the sun dipping below the horizon left everyone speechless. My experience there was limited to that of a visitor, so I can't say for certain whether or not it's typical. However, on the day that I visited there, the sky was a breathtaking shade of orange.

If you want to make a good impression on your date, you should bring her here for a walk along the beach.

Restaurants that are both Excellent and Clean

In spite of the fact that I would rate St. Kilda Beach as being in the middle of the pack, I made sure to spend a significant amount of time there during my most recent visit to Melbourne. It was clean, it wasn't too busy (so we could always find a beautiful site for multiple people to set up towels), and there were fantastic restaurants in the vicinity, both places where you could sit down for a lovely lunch as well as places where you could get food to eat at the beach. (It should be noted that at the time of my visit, it was against the law to consume alcoholic beverages on the beach, and because my trip occurred around New Year's Eve, there were plenty of police officers patrolling the area on foot and also testing drivers' breath as they exited the beach parking area.) In addition, there are a lot of restrooms (all super clean). Went skydiving and really landed in the location as well, so it's possible that there will always be people flying through the sky there!

Visit that location in the evenings to see the Penguins.

It is a pleasant stroll to the pier, but if you do it in the evening, you will be rewarded when the penguins return for the day after eating. If you do it in the evening, though, you will miss out on the opportunity. To secure a prime position, you should arrive only a few minutes before sundown. The small one will return approximately half an hour after the sun has set. On one side, they can actually come from the peaceful beach, while on the other, they can come from the rocks. The rocks are where they choose to set up their homes. In contrast to Phillip Island, the penguins only come up one, two, three, or four at a time here; yet, the excitement of waiting for them to appear is palpable, and yes, we can snap pictures (But).

I had a great time learning about the penguins.

Together with my granddaughter, we had a wonderful time walking along the beach and then along the pier till we reached the restaurant at the end of the pier. After this, we saw the little penguins hiding among the rocks close to the pier; it was such a shock to see them.

Penguins of a smaller size

This location comes highly recommended if you are interested in seeing small penguins for free, and when I went there, I did in fact see a handful of them. Because I arrived before the sun went down, I did not see my first penguin until perhaps 7.30 or 8 o'clock in the evening. I was promised that there could be more if I was willing to wait until later, but the wind was making me feel quite chilly (being a girl from a tropical country and all). Be sure to wear appropriate clothing for the chillier breeze, and remember that flashlights are not permitted!

Proceed out into the Bay on foot.

Everyone goes for a stroll out onto the pier to get a glimpse of the bay and some beautiful views of the city, especially the central business district. Right across the street from the beach.

Gardens with a long history

We have visited St. Kilda on few occasions, but we were unaware that these gardens were there. What a delightful and unexpected treat. A large number of grassy areas with picnic tables and play areas. There are many different species of plants and trees, and the rose garden is just stunning. Amazing wrought iron gates may be found throughout the property. We take a wonderful stroll through this park on our way to the Auckland Street precinct, which is accessible from where we are staying. The park is kept in excellent condition.

Gardens that are kept in good condition

Lovely walk through the gardens, enough to see with a wide variety of trees and flowers, as well as numerous ferns in the greenhouse; a little haven; definitely worth a visit if you're in the neighbourhood; enjoyed the solar-powered rain man on the pin with his umbrella.

This is a lovely place to be

Beautiful gardens that house a diverse array of plant and animal life. We were given the opportunity to see a wedding on the grounds, which was a truly memorable experience.

A beautiful park where one can walk in or sit and relax.

The park included beautiful gardens that were meticulously cared for and offered numerous places to sit and take in the scenery. The ducks and the area around the pond were both really charming. Wandering through the Sub-Tropical Rain-forest Conservatory was an intriguing experience; keep an eye out for the carp in the ponds!

Exciting and obligatory for a Sunday

Because we were in the area on a Sunday, we made the decision to explore the local market. I was overjoyed to discover that it was a market where real hand-crafted items were sold. Not your ordinary tourist gifts. It starts at ten in the morning, but we arrived at twelve-thirty; the timing was perfect.

The Mornings of Sunday

Excellent use of one's time on a Sunday morning. Even though it wasn't as huge as I had anticipated, I still had a good time with it. In contrast to my initial assumption, the trail does not begin on the water's edge but rather immediately adjacent to Luna Park. A great deal of jewellery, candles, and clothing, as well as a few places to get some food

Authentic craftsmen offering a variety of high-quality products

You may get a taxi or an Uber to drop you off at the top of the esplanade, and then you can take a nice stroll all the way down to Luna Park, where you will have the opportunity to see all of the canopied crafts that are on show. The majority of the artisans are available to provide feedback or assistance in the organization of the production of a unique one-of-a-kind item.
Only on Sundays; arrive early to avoid the throng. Only on Sundays.

Artistic Promenade

The St. Kilda Markets are notable for their aesthetic quality and cultural variety. Excellent selection of goods, the majority of which are handcrafted. There was some stunning photography, and a young boy of 15 bought a panoramic shot of Hosier Lane.

A beautiful stroll down the Esplanade, which has a wonderful atmosphere thanks to all the people there. You'll have a difficult time resisting the urge to buy anything. The food trucks were a lot of fun. I cannot speak highly enough of the crepes!

Excellent Staff

This charming staff was ready to assist us in making the most of our visit to this rather modest museum, which still holds a tremendous amount of history. We were only able to spend a limited amount of time there, but they gave us a permit to visit again in the future. The past was brought to life by the inclusion of many human stories.

A genuine factor of amazement

To begin, I want to express my gratitude to Geoff for the extremely friendly greeting he extended to my family and me when we first arrived. We were pleasantly surprised to see such an engaging museum in such an unexpected location. The collection, as well as the display, are rather remarkable. A quick trip on the tram will get you to the heart of Melbourne in no time.

There is so much history packed into such a little area

This museum may be small in size, but it packs a tremendous punch when it comes to its history, the amount of detail it includes, and its heart! We should everyone make an effort to travel there at some point because it is such a moving and significant location. We must ensure that this chapter of our history is never forgotten so that we can prevent something similar from ever happening again.

Cultural experience

I have been there, and it was an extremely emotionally draining experience because the museum includes graphic descriptions of the Holocaust.

Additionally, we went to the venue to see Amy Winehouse perform and view her exhibition, all of which were quite entertaining.

Tempting pastries and interesting boutiques are waiting for you.

While you stroll down Acland Street's shopping district, there is a lot for you to take in and enjoy looking at. There are also various appetizing bakeries, cafes, and restaurants in addition to the unique shops.

Brilliant

We were in St. Kilda for a few days, and our accommodation was located not far from Acland Street. There are a number of bars and restaurants that are of exceptionally high quality. Went to Tommy Tucker's and Abbey Road for dinner, both of which provide delicious food. The seashore and Lunar Park are both within walking distance of the street itself. Excellent

Shopping for cakes behind glass displays is a major draw.

Even though we were only in St. Kilda for one night, we were able to locate a great place to eat breakfast and lunch on Acland Street the next day. It goes without saying that the cake stores are a highlight, regardless of whether you end up making a decision and purchasing one or not; nonetheless, there are various other businesses that can fascinate even someone who does not enjoy shopping.

Wonderful location for walking, exploring, and shopping.

With everything from hip bars to delectable cake shops and ice cream parlours to clothes boutiques with a unique flair and jewellery shops that stand out from the crowd. Acland Street is a must-see for vacationers and a focal point for the city's nightlife and other forms of entertainment. Great weekend or weekday hang out.

David Gray

I felt sorry for David Gray because it seemed like people kept leaving while he was performing; it was like people kept walking out on him. David Gray was incredible, and the sound was great; however, you should consider closing the bar while he was playing. The event was ruined because people kept leaving to get more alcohol or to make room for more people.

A grand old lady

A concert by Charley Pride that took place not long ago at the Palais Theatre in St. Kilda was really enjoyable for us. What a thrill it was to be seated in the front row of the lounge section in the most gloriously comfy seats and to be able to enjoy a couple of hours of great music from a country music legend.
The Theatre oozes elegance and allure with its presence.

Directly confronting one another

This venue has hosted a number of concerts that we have attended, and it provides an excellent view of the stage as well as the performer that you have travelled to see. The only drawback is that the bar and merchandise rooms have a very unattractive layout, and it takes a very long time to get service.

Intimate

The first few rows upstairs are absolutely sitting only, which is a bummer when attending a concert because the theatre is otherwise nice and intimate. It is a well-known landmark in St. Kilda and can be found directly across the street from Luna Park. Plenty of parking is available in the neighbourhood, and the beach is just across the street.

The pinnacle of historical entertainment

The amusement park that is known as Luna Park is one of a kind and has been beautifully preserved from a bygone period. The ride on the amazing roller coaster is the highlight of this experience because it is so entertaining. Don't miss out on Luna Park, which, by the way, has an admission charge that's surprisingly affordable.

This endeavour is not for the faint of heart.

This amusement park is a wonderful option for a fun day out for locals or if you don't have anything else planned, despite the fact that it cannot be compared to the Disney resorts.

You should go on a day that is not a national holiday or a day when schools are closed unless the Easter egg hunt for children is what you have in mind as we did. You may perhaps go after 5 o'clock when the number of people is beginning to diminish. Bring your own water with you on hot days so that you may stay hydrated despite the lack of shady locations. You are free to come and leave for lunch and dinner whenever you like so long as you have your wristband on.

Some of the rides are quite terrifying and are not for those who easily get scared. You should get an unlimited ticket if you plan on going to five or more attractions.

Wonderfully enjoyable day

We went with kids ranging in age from 6 to 14 and there was something for all of us to do. It's a little run down, the uniforms are terrible, and the entry fee is a little pricey, but other than that, we had a wonderful day. The lines weren't too long, and the rides were enjoyable. My one and only major gripe are that there were a large number of adults waiting in line for the kiddie rides intended for younger children; I believe that several of those attractions would benefit from instituting an upper age limit.

Classic Amusement Park in its Original Form

Visit this classic amusement park near the beach and Bay and have a spin on the roller coaster or one of the other rides. A great spot to take some pictures at.

Excellent

Once you discover it, this park is fantastic for kids of all ages, but especially the younger ones. Situated within the midst of Stkilda's high-density housing. Be advised that there are a number of people who would not be considered good residents wandering around or camping close outside the park... as well as receptacles for needles.

We happened upon these tiny gardens by accident.

We came across these communal gardens when we were roaming about in the St. Kilda neighbourhood. They had interesting artworks and wonderfully layered individual gardens. There was also music and a lot of people and families.

Lovely concept, as well as the location, to go around.

This is such a great idea for bringing the community together, and it will definitely work! We went for a stroll about the area, and it was wonderful to see people of many ages collaborating and sharing their knowledge with one another. Take a stroll if you find yourself with some free time:)

Very amazed by the effort done in the neighbourhood

The stroll through the gardens was such a pleasant way to spend the afternoon. Beautiful scenery and works of art. There are unexpected occurrences around every bend. It is a wonderfully tranquil and calming environment in which to hang out. Maintain the high standard you've set.

Attraction during the Summer

The park is about the size of a medium-sized city block and is filled with exotic trees that have reached their full maturity. However, around ten years ago, a storm took down a few of these trees, and they have not been replaced. Since I reside in the area, I am able to go to the park rather frequently. On the side facing the sea, the rockery wall designed by Carlo Catani was brought back to its former state in 2018. The goal of the wall is to protect against any storm surge that may originate from St. Kilda Harbour. The problem of homeless people sleeping in the area along the seawall has not been resolved, which has led to an increase in garbage and rubbish. However, the majority of the gardens are clean and tidy.

Beautiful Garden from the Victorian Era with Strange Trees

Large gardens with enormous lawns, yet conveniently located near eateries, the St. Kilda Pier, which hosts a free evening penguin parade, and yacht races to watch. A picnic area with BBQ grills and tables, which is mostly quiet but does occasionally host public events with loud music and sporting competitions (triathlons, etc.) every other or every third weekend throughout the summer months (Nov-Feb),

A peaceful departure from St. Kilda

Even when there aren't any events or festivals taking place in the gardens, this park is a pleasant place to visit. They offer barbecues, water that is readily available, tables, chairs, and pony rides on the weekends for children. Because the park is of sufficient size, there should never be a problem finding somewhere to sit, lie down, and unwind.

Pleasant park with places to rest and unwind in it

This park, like the majority of parks, offers a wonderful area to sit and unwind. When you are sitting here, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it truly feels like you are on vacation.

Wonderful journey across the bay

A highly recommended means of transportation for going through Williamstown and St. Kilda. The boat is quite comfortable, the crew is extremely friendly and helpful, and the view of the city from the boat is stunning. It is reasonable that the price of $14 for each passenger for the entirety of the trip will be charged. Utilization is strongly advised.

AMAZING PEOPLE!! The ferry is the best option for everyone!

It was my first time in Williamstown, and I was already running behind schedule. I was completely unprepared for what was to come. While I was in a state of fear, they helped me remain cool by waiting for me and guiding me through the process of operating the parking metre. People who are actually great and loving in equal measure. This individual is really helpful and willing to be of service. The trip itself was fantastic; I found it to be fairly soothing, and the scenery was really breathtaking.

Wonderful journey on a very warm day

By riding this handy, little ferry, you can escape the hassle of figuring out how to get a Myki card and use it on public transit. Instead, you can go to the Central Business District quickly and easily (CBD). We continued on our journey until we reached Williamstown, at which point we turned around and headed back. It was easy to get lost in Williamstown for a couple of hours, and the information provided by the tourist information centre was quite helpful in suggesting different routes for shorter strolls.

Ferry Ride to St. Kilda and a Traditional Sunday Lunch

After boarding the boat at Station Pier, we set sail for Williamstown at 11.30 and arrived there at that time. The location of lunch was Williamstown. made arrangements for the payment of our return. Gather aboard the ferry! Families, children, canines, etc... It turned out to be a fantastic crossing! The staff members are of the very best quality! We got off the boat at Gem Pier, and then made our way to Pelican's Landing in search of something to eat. Our departure for the return trip took place at four o'clock in the afternoon. When we came back at Station Pier, the boat that was supposed to occupy the assigned berth was already there, and it refused to move. The captain gratefully accepted this, and then very capably berthed the boat in a separate spot; following this, all of us disembarked from the vessel.

Nonstop excitement

The fact that the Albert Park circuit is regarded as one of the very best is not surprising at all. Your admission fee gets you to access to a wide variety of different entertainment options in addition to the event itself. The track can be navigated with ease, and there are several vantage spots that provide a good view of all of the different sections. There is a nonstop service of cost-free trams between the city and the racetrack. It is highly recommended that you go!

Great Experience

A spectacular celebration was put on by the city of Melbourne, and what a wonderful venue it was, with the city skyline serving as a backdrop.
It is a testament to how well organized everything was that over 300,000 people were able to enter and exit Albert Park without a hitch.
The entertainment provided at the track during the breaks between races was fantastic, with some fantastic acts performing on stage in the Heineken Village.
The only thing that could be considered problematic is the high cost of beer and other beverages; considering that the audience is confined, they do not have many other options.
Well done Melbourne

Excellent for people who like other sports as well!

My husband is a tremendous fan of Formula One, and over the past several years, the two of us have attended quite a few races together. This was, without a doubt, the most exciting one. The facilities and the surroundings around Albert Park make it extra memorable for folks like myself who appreciate Formula One but are not die-hard fans of the sport. The views are spectacular, both from the stands and from general admission, and both offer excellent vantage points. During the downtime between races, I would take a stroll about the area to take in the scenery, read a book, and bask in the sunshine while enjoying the many foods and beverages that were available. We were both blown away by how well the GP is organized and conducted. Not only for those who are obsessed with Formula One, but also for anyone else!

The very first Formula One Grand Prix

This was my first Grand Prix, but it definitely won't be the last one I compete in. My kid is a great aficionado, and since we travelled together, we were able to enjoy four days that were jam-packed with activities. We spent an average of ten hours at the track each day, and while there was a fair variety of things to do, good food options, and bars, the number of restrooms that were accessible was severely inadequate, and the lines were ridiculous at times.
If you can only attend the event for one day, we recommend going on Friday. Not only is it the most affordable option when compared to race day, but you are also permitted to bring your own food and bottled water. The vibe in the room was electrifying.

Having a picnic for the birthday in the park

I absolutely adore the Hank Marvin food vans that come to this location on Saturdays! Bring a ball for the kids and you can spend hours playing and having fun here; not only is the food fantastic, but so are the people, and the ambience is calm and soothing. For families with children who are approximately 9 or 10 years old, I wholeheartedly recommend this activity. The flying fox is popular not only with my younger children but also with my older children and their friends.

Beautiful park

a lovely park that has been meticulously maintained and features an abundance of pathways and vegetation. A wonderful place to get away from the commotion that typically occurs in that region. I would highly recommend going here for a picnic or even just a pleasant stroll.

Two parks

The park of Alma is separated in half. One side is designated for gatherings and activities of a sporting kind, while the other is laid out more like a garden and features a significant amount of open parkland. In the second park, which is located closest to Chapel Street, there is a stunning trail that winds its way right through the heart of the verdant flora, which displays a diverse range of plant species.

Gardens located near the northernmost end

I travelled across the western and eastern portions of the park that are close to Dandenong Road. Each side of the park appears to have a distinct personality due to the fact that it is split in half by the railway line that leads to Sandringham. Gardens with a European flavour and winding walks can be seen on the western side (there are public toilets nearby on Dandenong Road). The eastern half of the property features a large sports oval and numerous native plant species.

I Love Albert Park

I have a soft spot in my heart for Melbourne's Albert Park, a charming neighbourhood that is within easy walking distance of the South Melbourne Market, the seaside, and the central business district of the city. This is the place I would live if I were 25 years younger and had the financial means to do so.

A Good Walk

Around the perimeter of Albert Park is a wonderful trail that may be utilized for either walking or cycling. The circuit around the lake is approximately 5 kilometres long and offers a level course in a beautiful setting. If you feel the need to sit down or if you've planned ahead, there are numerous spots available for you to have a picnic.

There is a Sufficient Room for Each Person.

Do you have any interest in viewing the Grand Prix live? You have unfortunately not been able to attend this year's 2019 event, but the fast and furious cars enjoy racing around in this park. This park is really lovely with a lake that you can walk around and enjoy the view of. In the meantime, whether you are on your bike or taking the family out for a picnic or stroll, this park is a great place to go.

Swans of black and the most beautiful vistas

Paddles55 has done an excellent job of describing the various attractions and amenities that can be found in Albert Park. The presence of black swan families, complete with vigilant parents and numerous fluffy grey and downy babies, is another distinguishing aspect of the area. I really enjoy the five-kilometre stroll around the lake in all kinds of weather since it provides a variety of different views of the Central Business District (CBD), and it also gives me the opportunity to grab a cup of coffee at one of the park's three restaurants or cafés. This excellent neighbourhood features a number of attractions, one of which is the Melbourne Sports Centre, which is known for its enticing swimming areas and water slides.

Ancient vegetation and extravagant building designs

It is a venerable old structure that is situated among grass and trees. The trees have taken on an unusually foreign appearance and have matured to a very enormous size. There is a selection of seats accessible in the shady area. A large number of cafes and other dining establishments can be found in the neighbourhood, in addition to a few tram routes and a local train station (Balaclava).

The once-Important Town Hall Is Now the Downtown Area

The St. Kilda Town Hall is a magnificent structure that dates back to the 1890s and is considered to be one of the best civic buildings in all of Melbourne. It has been plagued by a lack of funding and, worst of all, the fire that occurred in 1991, which destroyed the interior of the Hall. This has made it impossible to use. After undergoing renovations, the Hall was once again able to serve as the epicentre of social activity in St. Kilda. Since the suburbs in the Bay Area were merged into one municipality in 1994, this building has been transformed into the administrative heart of the city that is now known as Port Phillip. St. Kilda Town Hall has become a well-known symbol of the city of Melbourne thanks to its impressive redevelopment, which included the addition of a majestic portico. There are a variety of rooms available for rent, including the Council Chamber, which can accommodate a large number of people.

Gallery as well as the work

Excellent location and it holds a place of major historical interest. There is always something going on, and it plays host to a diverse range of events, from Spooktober to local festivals.

A magnificent example of architecture from the middle of the 20th century

I adore this structure and have attended many different events held within it throughout the course of its history. Large and white in colour, with a portico designed in the classical style, it is impossible to overlook. It has a strong sense of community thanks to the lush grounds out front and the library that is just across the street.
The construction of this location began in the year 1890, but it wasn't completed until the 20th century. Expos, conventions, marches, ceremonies, and other types of events regularly take place in this location.
The staff is always really pleasant.
Suitable for use in wheelchairs Kid friendly. Parking isn't too bad. Toilets available. There is no provision of meals on site.

Fantastic location, complete with a big screen and comfortable seating. Seats provide a clear view of the stage. The ideal temperature, as well as the level of comfort.

The charming and historic theatre

excellent theatre for its size

On Friday, November 13, 2015, this venue hosted the fantastic Courtney Act. Excellent venue for a small, independent show such as this one to take place. Simple to locate, and a cab ride from the city will cost less than $20. There are a lot of things going on in St. Kilda, which means there are a lot of places to eat and drink before or after a show. This library contains quite a few different languages.

St. Kilda has traditionally been home to a culturally diversified population. A significant portion of the St. Kilda Public Library is devoted to the publication of literature in languages other than English. Additionally, a wide variety of newspapers are available, such as the Jewish News and publications from Eastern European countries. There are hundreds of CDs in the music department, and they cover genres ranging from rock to classical music. There is a sizeable portion of the bookstore that is committed to children's literature for younger readers. The use of computers is encouraged. It is in your best interest to become a member of the St. Kilda Library if you have any ties to the neighbourhood; the St. Kilda Library is usually bustling with people doing various things.

Excellent community library

I am relieved to know that there is still a neighbourhood library that people may visit. A wonderful location to take children in order to encourage them to read, and the exterior of the building has a pleasant and fascinating architectural design.

Excellent hours and location.

The one and only thing I can criticize about this library are that it costs a higher fee when you use the printer; 20 cents as opposed to the 15 cents that I was paid to perform print-outs and photocopies at my local libraries around the state.

Excellent staff

I just wanted to let you know that I had to pop in because I was unable to access my boarding cards on my mobile phone for my flight home. The librarian working in the computer section of the library, a young man, was outstanding and really helpful in arranging for us to obtain a temporary membership so that we could use the library's personal computers and printers. Made it simple to do!

The very best theatre in all of Melbourne!

I find it hard to believe that this tiny but wonderful theatre isn't more widely known; all of its acts are amazing, the location is beautiful and eccentric, and the audience members are well-mannered... To watch the best plays with the best performances at prices that are embarrassingly inexpensive for what you're getting is one of the perks of this job. It's such a well-guarded secret that I almost don't want to put it in writing...

Must see

A stronghold for avant-garde theatre in Melbourne. Seeing the company's most recent performance comes highly recommended to me. The writing done by Joanna Murray-Smith is quite good. American Song is an impressive piece that is both smart and dramatic regarding the gun issue in the United States. Joe Petruzzi's performance is remarkable. Well done Stitch in Red Susan Sims

Moorish peoples

Fantastic performance; it was definitely worth my time to check out the little neighbourhood theatre. On this particularly chilly evening, the theatre greeted us with the warm and inviting scent of mulled wine as we entered. A theatre with a more personal feel and excellent sight lines throughout the entire venue. The intermission may be taken advantage of by moving outside to the surroundings and enjoying some additional mulled wine.

Amazing!

Due to the venue's size, we were right in the middle of the action. The actors are just incredible! Both of the shows that I have seen so far have been fantastic! Wish I could visit that place once more soon.

Structure Inspired by Gothic

A magnificent structure designed in the Gothic style that is expected to be as appealing on the inside as it is on the outside. Unfortunately, it is not open to the general public, with the exception of when services are being held there. However, the outside is interesting enough to appreciate all of the little features and maybe even get your camera out of its case.

Travel through time and take in the beauty of this magnificent church.

This chapel dates back many centuries and is considered to be one of St. Kilda's best-kept secrets. Even if it is evident that the church is in need of some repairs, we ought to rally around it and show our support for the restorations.

The church is in need of assistance from the community.

The age of Christ Church St. Kilda is greater than 160 years. Since its construction in 1854, this impressive sandstone structure has withstood the passage of time. The Church is already active in the neighbourhood; nevertheless, in order to facilitate the desperately need repair, the community must now return the favour. An appeal is being held in order to raise the necessary funds to cover the estimated cost of $2.6 million. Christ Church St. Kilda is an Anglican place of worship; on Sundays, sung Eucharists are held at 9:00 am, and informal Eucharists take place at 11:00 am.

The oldest church in St Kilda

Lovely old church that dates back to the 1850s when it was constructed. It is a wonderful church to attend for a variety of reasons, the most notable of which is the compassion that is shown toward those who are less fortunate. Admire place of worship.

Wonderful Perspectives of the City

A significant portion of the hill at Point Ormond was removed during previous times in order to make room for the Elwood swamp; nonetheless, enough of the hill still stands to provide views of the incoming weather as well as the city skyline. In addition to that, it is exposed to the sea breeze. The Reserve also features a children's playground, picnic tables, barbecue grills, some native plants, and a significant amount of grass. A shared path travels a significant distance down the Bay, following the coastline all the way from the city. There is a stop for bus number 246 nearby.

Not an awful vantage point overall.

It's not a bad spot to look out over St. Kilda or Elwood and view the sunset or some ships passing by. Not nearly as crowded as St. Kilda Beach, either.

Wonderful lookout across both the city and the bay

A wonderful place to have a picnic or take advantage of the barbecues, tables, and chairs that are provided. The landmark offers a fantastic vantage point, in addition to a large amount of open grassland where children and dogs can run free. A beautiful vantage point from which to see the sun go down.

Great view

From the hill, there is a nice view of the sailboats, as well as people exercising and cycling. When we went there in December, there were several groups of people picnicking there, including families and friends.
